DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS
1. Every student must dress within the code during the entire school day when on campus.
2. Accessories must complement the dress code and therefore are to be minimal. Hats are not part of the dress code and are not to be worn.
3. Dress code is in effect from Monday, September 8th, 2008 up to and including Friday, June 5, 2009.
4. Civies Days are noted in the Student Planner which will be distributed during the first week of September. These days are made available specifically to have students dry clean or wash dress code items. On Civies Days, students may wear any regular attire they choose, provided the rules of decency and modesty are observed. Shoes must be worn. End of semester final exams are considered to be Civies Days. Note - There are no Civies days in September, December, January and March!
5. All students must obtain a permit if not in full dress code which also means wearing the uniform properly. The appearance of the uniform items is not to be altered. A parental/guardian note explaining why the student is not in full dress code is expected. A dress code permit will only be issued in case of an emergency.
6. Parents will be contacted in the case of frequent infractions. Students will be excluded from class for dress code infractions. Repeated infractions will result in a suspension from school.
7. All students must wear the prescribed dress code from Halpern’s Ltd. (socks excepted).
